Our team booked this location for the weekend in its entirety. It was spacious and easily accommodated our whole team. We were impressed by the lovely terrace in front of the house where we had great conversations and drinks. The common rooms had enough space to host workshops and team moments. You get to enjoy a nice old building however a downside is that the walls are quite thin- so you can hear the TV from the room next to you. Each room had their own bathroom which the team truly appreciated. To make full use of the professional kitchen which this location offers, we concluded our Saturday with a “Black Box dinner. On our request the dinner was vegetarian- some dishes even vegan. It was a fun team building activity in which there definitely was more than enough food for everyone.
Otterlo is a nice village with several opportunities to have a nice lunch or dinner. Our team had breakfast in Hotel Kruller, where there were adjustments possible to the meals to make them vegan/vegetarian- however sometimes things got a bit mixed up.
Location wise, ‘t Witte Hoes is ideal for those that want to spend some time in nature. It is close to the Otterlose Zand as well as to the Veluwe, which is in walking distance. As we enjoy the nature, we also booked the walk with the forester- he was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He did his best to answer questions that popped up when our team’s translator was done translating. We would advise to have a vehicle available though.
Generally, the staff was friendly, and the location was certainly spacious yet cosy enough to spend this weekend together. All in all, it was a great location to hold our training / work meeting!
